About
About BotsDoThat
A live, sourced feed of real things people hand to AI agents (inbox and phone calls, shopping, travel, family, health, work, small business), with real popularity numbers, plain-English guides, copy-paste prompts, build-your-own-bot blueprints and tips to run your bots for less.
Where the use cases come from
We look for real people describing real jobs they handed to an AI agent: posts on X and Reddit, plus articles and official product pages. Every use case links to its sources. When a post makes a claim about a result, we say whose claim it is.
How we measure popularity
- Only real counts. X likes and reposts come from X's API; Reddit upvotes come from the post. Each number shows where it came from and the date we measured it.
- Unknown stays unknown. If we couldn't measure it, we say “not measured”. We never estimate or round up.
- Heat (for “Trending now”) = (likes + 2 × reposts, or upvotes) ÷ weeks since the post, counting only posts from the last 60 days. Newer posts with real engagement rise; old ones fade.
- Numbers are refreshed by a daily routine, so they change over time.
Who runs this
An editor (Nik Schultz) and a team of AI agents that find new use cases, refresh numbers and check links. A human approves what gets published.
How we make money
Clearly labeled sponsorships (see advertise), and possibly affiliate links in future, always labeled and explained on our disclosure page. Money never changes rankings: trending is computed from public numbers.
