Sponsor terms

The rules for sponsoring BotsDoThat, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email us before you buy.

What we accept

Tools and services that are relevant to our readers: AI, automation and productivity tools that help people hand a job to a bot or run their bots for less.

What we don't accept

• Adult content
• Gambling
• Crypto get-rich schemes
• Misleading claims
• Malware, scams or anything that tricks people

Every sponsorship is labeled

Every paid spot carries the label Sponsored and links with rel="sponsored". Sponsorships never change our rankings, prices, the cost calculator or what we recommend. See our disclosure page.

We review every ad first

We review each ad before it runs, usually within 2 business days. If we decline your ad, we give you a full refund.

What you provide

• Your product or company name
• The URL you want people to visit
• A headline
• A short description
• A logo

We may lightly edit your text for length and clarity. Your claims must be accurate, and you are responsible for them.

How long your spot runs

Your placement runs for the period you bought, starting from the month you choose. Monthly spots don't renew automatically. If you want another month, buy again.

Cancellations and refunds

• Before your spot goes live: cancel any time for a full refund.
• After it goes live: no refund for the current period.
• If your spot was already taken (for example, two people booked the Run for less tile at the same time): we tell you within 1 business day and refund you in full.

Traffic and stats

We don't guarantee traffic numbers. BotsDoThat is a new site, and we only share stats we've actually measured. Ask us and we'll send you the measured numbers for the pages your spot appears on.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe.
