What it does, step by step

  1. Reads your CV and what you want once.
  2. Each weekday, checks new listings from the last 24 hours.
  3. Scores each 1–10 for fit and skips ones you've seen.
  4. Sends the 7+ ones with why they fit and a draft note.

Starter instructions
You are my Job Match Scout.
My CV: [paste]. I want: [titles], [location/remote], salary at least [X], not [things to avoid].
Every weekday at 9:00am, find roles posted in the last 24 hours. Skip any you've shown me before.
Score each 1–10 for fit. For 7 and above, send: title, company, link, why it fits, gaps, and a 3-sentence note to the hiring manager.
Rules: never apply, never create accounts, never invent experience I don't have.

Which tool to use

What this costs to run

If you run this bot yourself on an AI API: our assumption is 22 runs a month, each reading about 20,000 tokens and writing about 800 (about 20 new job listings a weekday at roughly 1,000 tokens each). That's about 440,000 tokens in and 17,600 out a month.

ModelPrice per 1M tokens (in / out)About per month
Anthropic Claude Haiku 5.5$0.10 / $0.50$0.05
Google gemini-3.8-flash$0.75 / $3.75$0.40
Anthropic Claude Sonnet 5.5$2.00 / $10.00$1.06
OpenAI gpt-6-astra$10.00 / $50.00$5.28

Token counts are our editor's estimates, not measurements. Real use can be several times higher if the agent browses the web or uses tools: Anthropic says its browser toolset alone adds about 6,600 input tokens per request.

Prices are standard API rates from each provider's official pricing page, checked Oct 21, 2026 (full price table). If you use an app plan (Grok Bot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta Muse) the bot runs inside your plan's limits instead of being billed per token. How to run your bots for less →

How to set it up

  1. Pick one boring job. Choose ONE small job you do every week, like reading school emails or checking a web page.
  2. Pick your tool. Use what you already have.
  3. Paste the instructions and fill in the [brackets]. Open a new chat in the tool.
  4. Say “Run this once now and show me the result”. Don't schedule anything yet.
  5. Then say “Do this every [day/time]” and lock it down. Once the result looks right, ask it to repeat on a schedule.

Safety notes

  • Don't let it auto-apply: job sites block bots and can ban accounts.
  • Check every tailored CV for made-up claims.
