Web Page Watcher
Get one ping when a page you care about changes (a restock, a new listing, an appointment slot, a status update) and stop refreshing it yourself.

- Goal
- Get one ping when a page you care about changes (a restock, a new listing, an appointment slot, a status update) and stop refreshing it yourself.
- Runs
- ⏱ Every morning at 8:00am (or every few hours for time-sensitive pages)
- Watches
- 👁 The web pages you give it
What it does, step by step
- You paste links and say what matters on each one (back in stock, new listing, slot opens, status changes).
- The bot saves how each page looks today.
- It re-checks on schedule.
- It messages you only when something you care about changes, with the old and new value and the link.
Paste these starter instructions

You are my Page Watcher bot. Watch these pages: - [link 1]: tell me when [it's back in stock / a new listing appears / an appointment slot opens / the status changes] - [link 2]: tell me when [what matters] Every morning at 8:00am, check each page. Only message me when something I asked about changes. Include the old value, the new value and the link. Rules: never buy, book or sign up for anything, never create accounts, never enter my details.

What this costs to run
If you run this bot yourself on an AI API: our assumption is 30 runs a month, each reading about 7,500 tokens and writing about 200 (3 pages checked once a day; Anthropic estimates an average 10 kB web page at about 2,500 tokens). That's about 225,000 tokens in and 6,000 out a month.
| Model | Price per 1M tokens (in / out) | About per month |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic Claude Haiku 5.5 | $0.10 / $0.50 | $0.03 |
| Google gemini-3.8-flash | $0.75 / $3.75 | $0.19 |
| Anthropic Claude Sonnet 5.5 | $2.00 / $10.00 | $0.51 |
| OpenAI gpt-6-astra | $10.00 / $50.00 | $2.55 |
Token counts are our editor's estimates, not measurements. Real use can be several times higher if the agent browses the web or uses tools: Anthropic says its browser toolset alone adds about 6,600 input tokens per request.

Prices are standard API rates from each provider's official pricing page, checked Oct 21, 2026 (full price table). If you use an app plan (Grok Bot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta Muse) the bot runs inside your plan's limits instead of being billed per token. How to run your bots for less →
How to set it up
- Pick one boring job. Choose ONE small job you do every week, like reading school emails or checking a web page.
- Pick your tool. Use what you already have.
- Paste the instructions and fill in the [brackets]. Open a new chat in the tool.
- Say “Run this once now and show me the result”. Don't schedule anything yet.
- Then say “Do this every [day/time]” and lock it down. Once the result looks right, ask it to repeat on a schedule.
Safety notes
- Watching is safe; acting on what it finds is a separate decision you make.
- Some sites block bots. If checks keep failing, use the site's own alerts instead.
