Setup
- Open claude.ai (free plan works) and check Settings has code execution and file creation turned on, which artifacts need.
- Describe the app: what it does, who uses it and the must-have features.
- Try it in the panel beside the chat. Say what to change, one thing at a time.
- When it works, use the share option if you want others to use it.

Watch out
- Don't put passwords, bank details or other private data into a home-made app.
- This works best for small, single-purpose tools. Bigger projects get harder to keep working with chat alone.
- If you share an artifact publicly, anyone with the link can see it.
