Get a researched report with sources on any question
Ask one big question and let a research agent spend several minutes searching, reading and comparing pages. You get back a written report with links to every source.

What the bot does
- Takes your question and asks a few follow-ups if it's unclear.
- Plans a set of searches, then reads dozens of pages.
- Compares what the sources say and notes where they disagree.
- Writes a report with a link next to each claim.
What you end up with
A multi-page report with linked sources that you can check, instead of 30 open tabs.
Copy-paste prompt
Fill in the [brackets]. Then paste it into any tool below.
Research this for me: [your question, e.g. which home battery backup options work with a [brand] solar system in [state]]. Who it's for: [me / my family / my small business]. I care most about [safety, cost, reliability]. Give me a short summary first, then the details. Link a source for every claim, say when sources disagree, and tell me what you couldn't confirm. Don't buy, sign up or contact anyone.

Watch out
- Research agents can still cite a page that doesn't say what the report claims. Click the links for anything important.
- Treat the report as a first draft. Check the sources for anything you'll act on, spend money on or repeat to others.
- Claude's help page says Research can use your connected apps (like Gmail) without asking each time. Turn off connectors you don't want it reading.
What this costs to run
In a chat app it runs inside your plan. If you run it as a bot on an AI API, the bill depends on how often it runs and how much it reads.
Estimate it in the cost calculator →
